Known to all as “The Real Coach Daniel,” Daniel Mckell, former professional soccer player, all-star college athlete, Director of Coaching for numerous clubs, Director and varsity coach for San Marcos High School, and more, brings his 13+ years of national team training experience with Trinidad and Tobago to the United States. His focus remains on technical and tactical skills, fitness, and intense work rate in order to achieve mental toughness in kids looking to take their game to the next level. Daniel believes that aspirations, triumphs, and failures are performed on the field but directly impacts kids’ lives off the field as well. He views these characteristics as important key components in life, which defines them as a person, and helps build trust and confidence as they grow.
Mckell developed the Soccer 360 program for youth soccer players. When he became the Director and Varsity Girl’s Soccer Coach for San Marcos High School in California, he realized there was a gap for player development once athletes reached the age of 14, one where professional and collegiate pathways were few and far between. In addition, once in high school, athletes no longer had interest in “camps,” however, showed a high level of involvement and interest in professionally hosted and coached, high intensity clinics for older players. Soccer 360 is built on a culture of the “ever evolving” elite soccer player’s development.
